Sustainability: The new must-have item in luxury tourism?
The luxury tourism market has evolved towards new approaches in its relationships with the destinations where it operates. A growth can be seen in the sector’s investments aimed at taking responsibility for a more responsible socioeconomic development and an increased connection with the management of the environmental impacts of the activities of hotels, resorts, etc. In this panel, which has been organized in partnership with the Brazilian Luxury Travel Association - BLTA, we will hear the stories of those who are leading our perspective for the sector.

Build Back Better: Rebuilding a better world after the pandemic
The travel industry found itself faced with an economic crisis the likes of which had never been seen before. Along with the losses came the opportunity to build back more responsibly, with regard to natural resources, adjustments to meet carbon emissions targets and their offsets, socio-economic impact improvements for the communities that receive travellers, etc. In this session, which has been organized in partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association, we will hear stories of Adventure Tourism ventures that took responsibility and decided to build back a better tourism sector in the wake of the pandemic.
