WTM London 2016 Responsible Tourism Programme 

The World Travel Market Responsible Tourism Programme
The WTM programme which was launched in London in November 2007 and which runs annually has now been extended to WTM Latin America and WTM Africa. At World Travel Market each November Harold Goodwin designs a programme of Responsible Tourism panels, a debate and a Stephen Sackur interview which precedes the presentation of the World Responsible Tourism Awards on World Responsible Tourism Day. From November 2016 the WRTD roundtable interview will be conducted by  Aaron Heslehurst BBC News and Fast Track

World Responsible Tourism Day.

World Responsible Tourism Day is a celebration of Responsible Tourism in London and around the world, supporters of the Cape Town Declaration organise a range of events in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australasia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and the UK.  You can find out who the supporters are and something about their contribution to WRTD here.

This year, WTM WRTD will commemorate two key anniversaries:

  • 20 years of Responsible Tourism
  • 10 years of World Responsible Tourism Days

The London programme attracts ~2000 participants each year.
